Work Order Day (WOD)

Our Work Ordered Day (WOD) gives members the chance to take part in meaningful, structured work that keeps the clubhouse running smoothly. From reception and administration to maintenance, gardening, and creative projects, every role builds confidence, purpose, and teamwork. The WOD helps members develop real-world skills while contributing to a positive, supportive community environment.

SEED Unit (Shelter, Education, Employment & Development)

The SEED Unit focuses on growth — helping members strengthen life skills, access education, prepare for employment, and find housing stability. Through one-on-one support and group programs, members build pathways to independence and personal development. SEED empowers individuals to plant the foundations for a better future.

CAFF Unit (Catering, Administration, Food & Fun)

Our CAFF Unit combines skill-building with community connection. Members take part in catering, event planning, and hospitality projects that build confidence and practical experience. From preparing meals to running social events, the CAFF Unit brings people together, promotes teamwork, and showcases the talents of our members.

Group Activities & Social Connections

Art

At Canefields, art is more than creativity, it’s connection and self-expression. Our art sessions give members the space to explore their imagination, build confidence, and share their stories in a safe and encouraging environment. Whether it’s painting, drawing, or craft, art helps members discover their strengths and express emotions that words sometimes can’t. Each piece created tells a story of resilience and personal growth, proudly displayed within our Clubhouse and community.

Social Recreation

Our Social Recreation Program brings people together through fun, friendship, and belonging. From BBQs and group outings to games, music, and creative workshops, these activities promote connection and wellbeing. Members learn teamwork, communication, and confidence in relaxed, supportive settings — proving that growth and recovery can happen through laughter and shared experiences. Every social activity helps strengthen community spirit and reminds members they are never alone.

Celebrations

We believe every milestone deserves recognition. Through celebrations and special events, we honour achievements, cultural diversity, and community spirit. Whether it’s birthdays, holidays, or end-of-year gatherings, these moments bring joy, unity, and pride to everyone involved. Our celebrations are a time to reflect on success, share gratitude, and highlight the strength of our Canefields family.
